Luxury sauna made from premium wood
The OKA Aura 1 infrared sauna is crafted from selected African wood species, Dark Thermo Abachi and Thermo Ayous, among the most suitable materials for demanding wellness environments. Both woods undergo controlled thermal modification at temperatures of approximately 180–215 °C without the use of chemical agents. During this process, sugars, resins and organic components responsible for internal stress, odors and biological instability are removed.
The result is a material with significantly reduced moisture absorption, excellent dimensional stability and long-term resistance to temperature fluctuations. Thanks to its open porous structure, the wood naturally regulates humidity within the cabin, supports a stable microclimate and contributes to even heat distribution throughout the interior. The absence of resins ensures that the wood remains odor-free and hygienically clean even during long-term use.
Dark Thermo Abachi is additionally characterized by extremely low thermal conductivity, ensuring that benches and contact surfaces remain comfortable to the touch even at higher temperatures. In its dark thermo-treated version, the wood gains a deep, homogeneous color that remains stable over time and requires no additional surface treatment. The use of long, solid boards without joints further enhances structural strength and emphasizes the technical and visual quality of the interior.

Interior, atmosphere and equipment
The interior is designed with ergonomics and comfort for two people in mind. A comfortable single-bench arrangement made from Dark Thermo Abachi is complemented by a skirt panel with ambient lighting that enhances the overall atmosphere. The low thermal conductivity of the wood ensures comfortable contact even during extended sessions.
The interior also features decorative cladding of the heating panels with integrated lighting, adding another layer of visual comfort and emphasizing the modern character of the sauna.
A key visual element is the starry ceiling with a black base, creating a calm and focused environment free of distractions. The interior is enclosed by 6 mm tempered dark grey glass with black handle and hinges, combining safety, functionality and timeless design. The exterior and lower parts are treated with Black Sauna Wax, which unifies the dark appearance and increases resistance to moisture and mechanical wear.
Technology and construction
OKA Aura 1 is equipped with a modern infrared heating system using nano carbon foil, providing even, comfortable and energy-efficient heating without overheating the air. The sauna uses IR-C emitters that generate gentle radiant heat, supporting overall relaxation and regeneration.
The heating panels are positioned for maximum efficiency on the back and side walls, as well as under the bench. The rear wall features a 600 × 900 mm heating panel for intensive heating of the back and spine. Side walls are equipped with 300 × 900 mm and 400 × 300 mm panels to ensure even heat distribution across the body. The total system output is 1650 W, delivering fast heat-up time, low energy consumption, long service life and maintenance-free operation.
All functions are easily controlled via a PTAT controller with a touch control panel and optional WiFi connectivity through the Smart Life application. The entire solution is designed to ensure long-term technical reliability, dimensional stability and maximum user comfort.
